A happy panda family have been seen enjoying their own "afternoon teatime" in southwest China's Sichuan Province, as a mother and her two twin daughters sat together and caught up on the latest gossip while munching on some bamboo. China Conservation and Research Center for the Giant Panda at its Dujiangyan Panda Base captured this family's moments.

It showed the warm scenes as panda mother "Pan Qing" and her two-year-old twins leisurely enjoyed some fresh bamboos. In one instance, the pandas were seen using the bamboo leaves as an umbrella to shelter from rain, while happily munching away on their favorite food at the same time.

Pan Qing was born in 2016 at the Bifengxia Base in Ya'an City at the Center, while her twin daughters "Qinghua" and "Qinglu" were born in 2021.

The Center is a world-renowned institution for the conservation, breeding and rewilding training of the pandas. It has partnered with 18 zoos in 16 countries and regions, 39 domestic animal breeding institutions and over 10 scientific research institutes in China to work on conservation of giant pandas.
