Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed in Beijing on Tuesday morning. The Ethiopian prime minister is in China's capital to attend the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and pay an official visit to the country. Xi said, "Over the past 10 years, China-Ethiopia cooperation has been at the forefront of China-Africa cooperation in the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, covering a wide range of areas, delivering fruitful results and benefiting the people".
