The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation on Wednesday issued a presidential statement calling on all parties to promote Belt and Road cooperation into a new stage of high-quality development and make greater contributions to advancing international cooperation and economic growth, as well as accelerating the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Over the past 10 years, the Belt and Road cooperation network has extended from the Eurasian continent to Africa and Latin America, said the statement, adding that more than 150 countries and over 30 international organizations have signed cooperation documents with China.

Focusing on connectivity, the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) has promoted the flow of goods, capital, technology and personnel in various countries. China has cooperated with various parties to carry out more than 3,000 practical projects, attracting nearly $1 trillion of investment.

During the forum, a total of 458 results were yielded, including a series of international cooperation proposals, multilateral cooperation outcome documents, practical cooperation projects and bilateral cooperation agreements, according to the statement.
