Tamara Vucic, the first lady of Serbia, recently visited the famous Silk Street in Beijing. As a fan of Chinese culture, she picked out some her favorite Chinese products on her shopping trip.
During Mrs. Vucic's time at the street, a silk garment featuring elaborate patterns and motifs from Chinese blue-and-white porcelain caught her eye. She said she knows that Chinese silk products have a soft texture, are of high quality, and that their designs often feature Chinese cultural elements. She was keen to wear this beautiful garment to reflect the richness of Chinese culture.

As the world's first and largest silk producer, Chinese silk products still enjoy great popularity in China and around the world. Speaking highly of Chinese silk products when she chose them as gifts for her friends, Mrs. Vucic hoped that more people would learn to appreciate the charms of Chinese silk products.

Subsequently, she wrote in the Silk Street's signature book: "Silk serves as a symbol of gentleness and beauty, connecting different civilizations and distant continents. The Silk Road is a path to a better and shared future that is worth the efforts of the world to achieve."
At the same time, Mrs. Vucic was given a gift of a beautiful blue and white porcelain tea set made in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. Known as China's "Porcelain Capital," Jingdezhen has been producing ceramics for at least a thousand years. Its exquisitely crafted porcelain is regarded as the finest in China.
