The Israel Defense Force (IDF) has announced the establishment of a humanitarian zone in the southern Gaza Strip to provide international aid to civilians, the Times of Israel reported Wednesday.

Israel said the zone was agreed upon after several negotiations with Egypt, the United States and other countries as it continues calling Palestinians in the northern part of the Gaza Strip to evacuate south.
