The 10th Wuzhen Theatre Festival will be held from October 19 to 29 in Wuzhen, east China's Zhejiang Province, featuring a series of theatrical performances, a theater market, an emerging theatre artists' competition, outdoor carnivals and many other interesting activities.

Established in 2013, the annual cultural feast has been providing an inclusive platform for young global theater artists to demonstrate their talent and promote international cultural exchanges. This year marks its 10th anniversary. Some 28 theater works from 11 countries and regions will compete for awards during the festival. About 87 performances will be staged at theaters in Wuzhen during the festival.

As a grand celebration of artistic performances, the Wuzhen Theatre Festival is held in the picturesque water town in northern Zhejiang Province every year. The ancient town serves a showcase for Chinese history, culture and architecture through its network of ancient buildings and waterways, stone bridges and paths, and array of intangible cultural heritage – stunning visitors with the beauty of its natural surroundings and its placid vibe.
