Péter Szijjártó, Hungarian minister of foreign affairs and trade, is personally proud to be the first foreign minister from the European Union to sign the implementation agreement for the Belt and Road Initiative. On the sidelines of the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing, Szijjártó tells CGTN's Tian Wei that after 2020, most foreign investments in Hungary are coming from China. He lauds these investments as modern and state-of-the-art. He highlights that Hungarian foreign policy, much like China's, is very practical, which is to improve the economic competitiveness and economic performance of the country without ideological hang-ups.
