- Biden met Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday in Israel in a show of support. He also announced a $100-million humanitarian aid package to Gaza and the West Bank.
- Israel also said on Wednesday that it will allow Egypt to deliver limited humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip as long as this aid does not "reach Hamas."
- Israel has denied Palestinian accusations that it was responsible for a fatal hospital blast in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday and claimed it was caused by a misfired Palestinian militant rocket. The UN said it's essential there is an investigation into the incident, which caused hundreds of deaths.
