Leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) on Friday issued a statement calling on all parties involved in the Gaza conflict to implement a permanent ceasefire and condemning the attacks on civilians in the Palestinian enclave.
