Sci-fi fans from around the world are gathering at the 2023 World Science Fiction Convention in southwest China's Chengdu. The event runs from October 18 to 22. During the convention, finalists will be selected for the 2023 Hugo award – the "Nobel Prize" for science fiction. CGTN visited the convention's venue to find out why there are so many young sci-fi fans.
