A collective golden wedding anniversary ceremony took place in Chongqing, southwest China, on October 19. Thirteen couples celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary participated while dressed in traditional Chinese wedding attire, symbolizing their enduring love and lifelong commitment with the phrase, "Holding hands in youth, growing old together."
The event aimed to further promote the rich traditional culture of the Chinese nation and the timeless virtues of respecting and caring for the elderly, all while helping young people form the right perspectives on marriage and family. As the Double Ninth Festival approached, it offered the elderly a special holiday celebration.
