Israel has warned humanitarian groups in the Gaza Strip to evacuate Al-Quds Hospital and five nearby schools as it amasses tanks and troops around the enclave. The conflict has entered its third week with over 4,200 Palestinians and 1,400 Israelis killed. Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant has laid out a three-stage plan to end Hamas' rule in Gaza. Professor Maged Botros, head of the Department of Political Science at Helwan University in Cairo, said Israel has strategic interests in splitting the Palestinians.
