Feifei, the mascot of the 4th Asian Para Games, is expected to participate in the flame ignition at the opening ceremony along with a torchbearer.

The blue-colored Feifei is inspired by the Divine Bird of ancient Liangzhu culture, which is located in today's Hangzhou and has been inscribed on the World Heritage List as a cultural site since July 2019.

The character incorporates Hangzhou's historical and cultural heritage, technological innovation, and longings for harmonious coexistence between man and nature.

The name of the mascot conveys an idea of “the sky is the limit for the participants.” According to the Asian Paralympic Games Organizing Committee, the first "fei" means the bird flying, serving as an allegory for the inclusiveness, respect and fraternity of human society. The second "fei" represents the mental tenacity of the athletes with disabilities pursuing dreams and reaching beyond themselves.

The 4th Asian Paralympic Games will be held from October 22 to 28.
