The Rafah crossing on the Gaza-Egypt border opened on Saturday to allow humanitarian aid to reach the blockaded Palestinian enclave.

Live footage aired by Egypt's TV showed fist aid trucks orderly make their way through the crossing shortly after 10 a.m. local time.

According to Hamas officials, 20 aid trucks are supposed to enter into Gaza on Saturday that will include medicine, medical equipment and a limited amount of food.
