The "space garden" or cultivation device in the China Space Station has a modular and open structure designed by researchers at the China Astronaut Research and Training Center. This innovative system allows the Shenzhou-16 crew to grow and enjoy fresh vegetables like lettuce, scallions and cherry tomatoes in orbit.
