Israeli air strikes continued to pound the Gaza Strip while Hamas kept firing rockets at Israel on Saturday, the 15th day of the ongoing armed conflict. On the day, 20 trucks loaded with humanitarian aid entered Gaza through the Rafah crossing after a two-week blockade. The relief materials including tents and medicines were from Egypt and Qatar. This is the first time Israel has allowed a small amount of urgently needed aid to enter Gaza since the current stage of the conflict began.
