The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on social media early on Sunday that its aircraft recently attacked an underground "terrorist route" beneath a mosque in the northern West Bank city of Jenin.
In the mosque there was a "terrorist cell" of Hamas and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant groups that planned to carry out an attack "in the immediate time," the IDF claimed in the post.
