Despite the push by Western media of the narrative of China creating "debt traps" in Belt and Road partner countries for years, Makhdoom Babar, president and editor-in-chief of Pakistan Daily Mail, says the projects underway in Pakistan and Sri Lanka serve perfect counterexamples proving that the debt trap accusation is purely "baseless propagation."
