The concept of respecting the elderly and taking care of children has long been deeply rooted in Chinese culture, and the Chongyang Festival, or China's Seniors' Day, is regarded as a day to extend respect and care to the elderly and mark the long-standing legacy of filial piety throughout Chinese civilization. The Chongyang Festival falls on October 23 this year, where a diverse range of activities are being held across the country to pay respect to elderly people and appreciate the wisdom they pass down.
