China Media Group (CMG) and the French culture ministry agreed to work together to boost people-to-people exchanges. The consensus was reached during a meeting between CMG President Shen Haixiong and French Culture Minister Rima Abdul-Malak in the French capital Paris. 2024 marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and France, as well as the year of culture and tourism between China and France and the year when the Paris Olympic Games will be held. The two sides expressed their willingness to jointly help promote China-France people-to-people exchanges to a new level and create a good atmosphere for enhancing China-France friendly relationship and deepening bilateral economic, trade and cultural cooperation.
