M5.9 earthquake strikes waters off Taiwan region: CENC

A magnitude-5.9 earthquake jolted the waters off Hualien County, China's Taiwan region, at 7:05 a.m. on Tuesday, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, the center added.
