Bangladesh Train Collision: Two trains collide killing at least 17

A train collision in eastern Bangladesh has claimed at least 17 lives and left numerous injured. The accident occurred when a passenger train crashed into a freight train in Bhairab, about 80 kilometres northeast of the capital Dhaka. Initial reports suggest that the freight train may have disregarded a signal, causing the collision. Rescue operations are ongoing, and authorities have launched a formal investigation. Two witnesses have shared their observations.
