Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday met with Gavin Newsom, governor of the U.S. state of California, at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. President Xi said that the vitality of the China-U.S. relationship lies at the local level. China and U.S. can work hard to promote China-U.S. relations in all aspects and create a good atmosphere.
