The U.S. House of Representatives has finally elected a new speaker. Republican Congressman Mike Johnson of Louisiana was elected. In his speech, he said the House "is ready to get to work again." Einar Tangen, a senior fellow at Taihe Institute's think tank in Beijing, claims that Johnson is facing many challenges since Republicans are still highly divided.
