UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Egypt and Morocco have condemned the targeting of civilians and the violations of international humanitarian law in Gaza, according to a joint statement.

The right to self-defense does not justify violations of international law and the deliberate neglect of the Palestinian people's legitimate rights, the statement added.
