Direct flights between Japan and Israel will be suspended temporarily due to the worsening situation in Palestine, as reported by Japan's Jiji press on Thursday, citing the country's foreign ministry.

Currently, the service is expected to remain suspended until March next year. The report adds that the last flight from Israel to Japan departed on Wednesday.
