The ongoing Palestine-Israel conflict in the Gaza Strip has entered the 21st day, with over 8,300 deaths reported on both sides. In Gaza, the humanitarian situation has deteriorated drastically as more than 610,000 civilians now seek shelter in UNRWA facilities due to ongoing Israeli air strikes. On November 25, one of these air strikes severely damaged a UNRWA school in Rafah that was housing 4,600 displaced Palestinians, killing one person and injuring 44 others including 9 children, drawing civilian refugees into the conflict. As aid groups struggle to support the massive displaced population, 38 UNRWA personnel have also lost their lives conducting relief work in Gaza amid escalating crisis.
