Earlier this month in Azerbaijan, at this year's International Astronautical Congress, the world's largest space event held, China's space achievements were one major topic for discussion. Our reporter Wu Lei asked several heads of space agencies and organizations for their assessments of China's space program, and future collaboration opportunities.

CLAY MOWRY, President, International Astronautical Federation "First, Tiangong is now fully operational, and I think there's more to come on this station as well, really starts to gain some momentum in space. And so, a platform in LEO for sure, because I think that the moon will be the next focus for the entire world, but China as well. How do we go to the moon? How do we learn how to live on the lunar surface? How do we use the resources of the lunar surface? These are going to be really the primary elements of learning how to live and work in outer space. It's wonderful to see that new focus from all these nations, from particularly some of the largest populations on earth, focused on space."

S. SOMANATH, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) "We have seen the growth of China in space sector is really tremendous. I think you are giving a lot of push to create the required infrastructure, in terms of technology capability, in terms of building new systems and launching new missions. I think this shows your directions are very forward-looking and I'm very appreciative of that part of the work that you're doing. And it also goes with the long-term vision that you have created for the space sector."

SERDAR HUSEYIN YILDIRIM, Chairman of the Board and President, Turkish Space Agency "Why not, it is also a possibility. But suddenly you cannot throw the possibility. But before that, we can give some experiments to be realized, to be done in Tiangong space station, and because ISS will hold Turkey experiment, astronauts. But that's not all, we have many more. So, when we find opportunity, why not we can also do it together with CNSA and space station."
