On October 25, immediately following an attack in the Gaza Strip, a pregnant woman was rescued from the rubble. Doctors successfully helped her give birth to a girl. Tragically, just an hour later, the mother passed away.
CGTN interviewed Dr Ahmed Al-Farra, the head of the pediatrics department at Nasser Medical Hospital in Khan Yunis, discussing the circumstances and challenges they face. Dr Al-Farra explained that the hospital now relies on generators for electricity, and if they fail, incubators will be at risk, endangering all the babies.
