Imagine stretches of beaches and crystal-clear waters...besides this picturesque landscape, there is a hidden natural wonder in China's Hainan Island – The National Park of Hainan Tropical Rainforest. Nestled in the mountainous area in the middle of Hainan, the national park covers a vast area of 4268.54 square kilometers, accounting for one-eighth of Hainan's total land area. It is the most concentrated, best-preserved and largest contiguous tropical rainforest forest in China, and an important part of rainforests world-wide.

With diverse wildlife, the Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park is a treasure trove of nature. Approximately 20 percent of China's amphibian species, 33 percent of reptile species, 38.6 percent of bird species, and 20 percent of mammal species can be found here.

Moreover, the park boasts rich plant biodiversity, with an impressive 3,577 recorded species of wild vascular plants. This diverse vegetation not only enhances the park's beauty, but also provides essential sustenance and habitats for its many inhabitants.
