Battles rage in Gaza as the Israeli military says it will expand its operations and that its forces are still in the field. In Gaza, two large explosions have been seen as Israel knocked out communications via air strikes and artillery fire. Israel also says they are broadening humanitarian efforts and will allow trucks carrying food, water and medicine to enter southern Gaza, but the aid supplies are far from enough.
