The 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum opened on Sunday in the Chinese capital. Defense and military officials from more than 90 countries, regions and international organizations are in attendance.

The forum is being held from October 29 to 31 at the Beijing International Conference Center. The forum organizers said the event will focus on the Global Security Initiative, a new framework introduced by China.
