The ongoing humanitarian crisis is expected to worsen in Gaza as Israel launches ground attacks on the besieged and densely populated Palestinian territory. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is playing a key role in providing humanitarian assistance to the region. On the sidelines of a forum at Tsinghua University in Beijing, CGTN's Chen Mengfei spoke to Najum Iqbal, head of communications for East Asia at the ICRC.
