As we have heard the closing ceremony of the Hangzhou Asian Para Games is under way. Earlier, Chen Yilin previewed some of the highlights from tonight's celebration in Hangzhou.

CHEN YILIN Hangzhou "I'm at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium, waiting for the closing ceremony of the fourth Asian Para Games to begin.

"Right behind me you can see the cauldron, which was lit six days ago at the opening ceremony. It left a deep impression on the audience because the athlete lit it using a smart prosthetic arm. The question on people's mind now is how will the flame be extinguished? The organizers said they've focused not only on technology. And that the flame will be put out in what they describe as a very heart-warming way.

"Among the other highlights, as far as we know, the night will be a poetic farewell party under the theme: 'Let Your Dreams Fly and We Will Meet Again.' The organizers say the ceremony will draw on the finest traditional Chinese rites and rituals in seeing off beloved friends, and feature elements including tea, the city flower of osmanthus, and traditional music. And now in the stadium, you can truly smell the scent of osmanthus.

"Another highlight is that the event will feature over 200 actors and actresses who live with a disability. And a short film will be shown to pay tribute to all the athletes who have shown their sporting excellence over the past week. The film will also honour the dedication of the organizers, volunteers and social workers who've been part of the Hangzhou Games.

"The ceremony will also feature an official handover to Japan, the host of the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Games. CYL, CGTN, HZ."
