The opening ceremony of the 10th Beijing Xiangshan Forum has just been held in Beijing. Defense and military officials from over 90 countries, regions and international organizations are attending the forum. Zhou Bo, senior fellow at the Center for International Security and Strategy at Tsinghua University, says the most distinct feature of the forum is its focus on global cooperation, humanitarian aid and diplomatic dialogues, rather than political and military disputes.
