Israel has expanded its operations in Gaza over the past several days, having vowed to destroy Hamas. Wang Jin, an associate professor and specialist in Middle Eastern studies at Northwest University in Xi'an, says that Israel would establish a buffer zone in Gaza to secure its southern safety.
