The 2023 World Youth Development Forum, themed "Youth Strength for Solidarity and Innovation: Striving Together for Sustainable Development," kicked off on Monday in Beijing, with hundreds of experts and youth representatives from China and abroad attending the event.
The forum, which will be held online and offline from October 30 to November 1 in Beijing and Shenzhen, includes four thematic forums, namely digital development, youth development-oriented cities, response to climate and food crisis and cultural innovation.
During the period, an exposition named "Action Plan for Global Youth Development" will also be held to showcase the innovations and initiatives of youth from various countries in advancing the implementation of the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and global development initiatives.
Initiated by the All-China Youth Federation, the forum builds a platform for dialogues among international organizations, governments, youth organizations, young leaders, and all sectors of society, aiming to advocate prioritizing youth development and promote the joint implementation of the agenda.
