The death toll as a result of bombings in Jabalia camp in northern Gaza has risen to 100, Al Arabiya and Al Jazeera reported on Tuesday, citing the local health authority.

The Gaza authority said in a social media post that the attack targeted residential buildings in Jabalia camp and that hundreds of victims were sent to hospital without giving the number of deaths.

Gaza's civil defense director said Israeli air forces were behind the attack and destroyed a local district with six U.S.-made bombs.

There's no immediate response from Israel regarding the attack.
