Zhang Jun, China's permanent representative to the United Nations called for an immediate cessation of hostilities in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict at the UN General Assembly on October 30. The UN General Assembly on Friday adopted, by an overwhelming majority, a resolution calling for an immediate and durable humanitarian truce, which has pointed in the right direction, said Zhang Jun.
