Jiang Tianjiao, associate director of the Center for BRICS Studies at Fudan University, says great powers have special responsibility in protecting the security and peace of the world. He added that it's crucial to properly handle the interaction between traditional conflict and emerging non-traditional risks, which no country is equipped to handle alone. He explains that it is under these circumstances that China proposed the Global Security Initiative. He also highlights the need for cross-cultural communication among young people, so people can understand each other better.
