The Maor family are survivors of the Hamas attack on October 7, residing in a collective farm (kibbutz) in southern Israel. Like most Israeli families in the area, they are temporarily seeking refuge in Tel Aviv. He told CGTN reporter Zhou Jiaxin, "I remember as a kid myself that we had the Oslo Accords and we were this close to peace with the Palestinians. And it all just blew up."
