Israeli Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer, who is also an observer of Israel's War Cabinet, responded to CGTN reporter Zhou Jiaxin regarding the risk of escalation of war in the region. He said that Israel's policy is "deterrence in the north (to prevent that escalation there) and a decisive victory in the south...thus far that strategy is working. But I can't tell you what the situation will be tomorrow... because we're not the only player here."
