Hamas said its militants in Gaza fired anti-tank missiles at Israeli forces early on Tuesday and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected a ceasefire as the Palestinian enclave's humanitarian crisis deepened.
Israel has expanded ground operations in Gaza in retaliation for a deadly Hamas gun rampage three weeks ago that Israeli authorities say killed over 1,400 people. The death toll in the Palestinian coastal enclave exceeds 8,300, according to Palestinian authorities.
