Yemen's Iran-backed Houthis said on Tuesday that they have launched a "large number" of ballistic missiles and drones towards Israel.
"The Yemeni Armed Forces ... confirm that they will continue to carry out qualitative strikes with missiles and drones until the Israeli aggression stops," the group's military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a televised statement.
The claim came after Israel said it downed an approaching "aerial target" as air raid sirens went off in the area of the Red Sea city of Eilat on Tuesday.
