Flying Tigers' descendent: Brave & brotherly spirit needs to be carried on

02:23

The Flying Tigers delegation is on a visit to China. On Monday morning, they traveled to the Museum of the War of Chinese People's Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in Beijing. They attended a major event marking the 80th anniversary of the U.S. 14th Air Force's participation in the war. That group carried on the work started in 1941 by the American Volunteer Group, widely known as the Flying Tigers, which was disbanded in July 1942. Jackson Long, who is 15 years old, is the youngest member of the delegation. He is the great-grandson of 14th Air Force fighter pilot Cliff Long. CGTN's Tian Wei had an interview with him and his grandfather Clifford R. Long Jr. Clifford  hoped that the history as well as the spirit of the Flying Tigers will be better inherited by future generations.
