It's harvest season for hairy crabs growing along the banks of the Yellow River in Xuegong Village, Linyi County, northern China's Shanxi Province.
Farmers have been busy catching the Chinese mitten crabs, known for their dark green shell, white belly, golden claws and yellow hair. This year's production is expected to reach 75,000 kilograms, valued at 7.5 million yuan (about $ 1 million).
