Veterans of the Flying Tigers and their families are in China, hoping to rekindle the spirit of cooperation that defined their wartime efforts. CGTN's Dong Xue sits down with Harry Moyer, who's spending his 103rd birthday in Beijing. Let's hear what he had to say.
DONG XUE CGTN Reporter "First of all, welcome to Beijing, and thanks for your devotion to the Chinese people during World War Two. The Chinese people have always expressed deep gratitude. I've read an interview you gave to a U.S. newspaper back in 1989, talking about your war experiences. Then you described China as beautiful, and said you took a liking to its people. What was it about China that impressed you? Can you share some memories about your time in China?"
