A 1,200-year-old ancient ginkgo tree nestled in Beijing's Changping District is currently looking resplendent clad in its "golden armor." As the autumn season graces the area, this majestic and upright ginkgo tree is adorned in a canopy of bright golden leaves, creating a truly magnificent spectacle.

Legend has it that this venerable tree was planted during the Tang Dynasty (618-907), and is estimated to be around 1,200 years old. Standing at 25 meters tall, with a crown that extends 20 meters from east to west and 25 meters from north to south, it spans an impressive 670 square meters in total. It is one of the oldest and largest ancient trees still in existence in Changping District.
