Standing above the Nanming River, Jiaxiu Tower beckons travelers and locals to gaze at its architectural beauty. With its origins in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the current building in the Nanming District of Guiyang, Guizhou Province is a reconstruction of the relic, built in 1909. At night, lights wrapping the edges of the three-story structure brighten up the scenic spot, illuminating the cornices and eaves that are reflected on a glassy river surface.
From fluffy cakes to savory cookies, glossy shrimps to crisp radishes, sumptuous meats and crunchy fish rolls, your eyes will definitely be bigger than your stomach when you wander the streets of Wuzhen in east China.
