Standing above the Nanming River, Jiaxiu Tower beckons travelers and locals to gaze at its architectural beauty. With its origins in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the current building in the Nanming District of Guiyang, Guizhou Province is a reconstruction of the relic, built in 1909. At night, lights wrapping the edges of the three-story structure brighten up the scenic spot, illuminating the cornices and eaves that are reflected on a glassy river surface.
